★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is around 1.5 km away from national highway near dankuni, hoogly,westbengal. This place is a picnic spot and marriage hall as well. The picnic spot is very good and marriage hall houses within a 500 year old zamindar house.
Cool and cozy place to enjoy your time with your friends or family.
One thing that lack is the availability of water and lack of toilets .
Being in the vicinity of national highway it is well connected

One will find all these and more as they drive into 'Babuder Bari' (Mukherjee Gardens, Garalgachha). It is a perfect retreat to spend a day away from the pandemonium of the city and one's routine stress and fatigue. The beautiful house and its old-world charm, the grandeur and simplicity of its terrace and rooms alike with the amalgam of warmth all contribute to making this place beautiful and a spot one shouldn't miss out on.
The garden is wonderful with enough space and congenial environment for a picnic with friends, family or colleagues. For those of you who are yet to visit but are looking for a picnic spot in the vicinity of the city, this could be the place for you. About an hour's drive from the city and with clean and healthy surroundings, this could be part of a wonderful experience that awaits you.
The food could either be arranged for by the visiting party or you could get in touch with the host for having it taken care of. My experience was wonderful and the meal served was sumptuous. This is a place I would love to visit again and again.

A nice place (Mukherjee garden + Babuder Bari) to spend your weekend . If you are coming here by train, get off at Dankuni Railway Station and get in a Toto , tell the name of the place, and Viola!! You will reach the place
