★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location of this Youth hostel is just extraordinarily well. AC rooms and Dormitory both kind of rooms are available here. Though, dormitory rooms are not well maintained. There is no pantry or kitchen facility. One have to depend on the hotels available on road side.
Natural beauty in surrounding area specially in monsoon just awesome .
One can plan short trip with family n kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated just beside the starting point of the mukutmanipur dam project. A good view from the open corridor. Only 4 deluxe AC double bedrooms are there. This place needs proper maintenance. The deluxe rooms were inaugurated in 2015, but the present condition is not so good. Apart from AC deluxe double bedrooms, this place has separate normal AC double bedrooms, which are just okyish. And there are dormitories also. Rooms and toilets are well cleaned. Deluxe and normal AC rooms have attached toilets, equipped with geysers. No food system available, you have to arrange from outside hotels.
Overall a okyish experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is best. It is beside of Kangsabati river dam. Road is good. Room is not up to the mark. And we have faced loadshedding for more than 9 hours in first day.There was electrical fault due to rain and storm. Second day for 10 minutes which is bearable. Food quality is good. And the people are cooperative.

But one have to arrange food from outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location but pathetic maintenance. Govt should take good care of such beautifully located places. People won't be coming back to such dirty and dusty rooms. Toilets are not cleaned. Overall experience is very bad. It is ok to stay and price is also less as per the location. But only location is not the last thing, the stay has to be pleasant. Both the stuffs are very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the main government lodges in Mukutmanipur is the youth hostel. But if you want to come here, it is better to book in advance. Accommodation rent is within reach. Houses in a typical cozy home environment are here. However, the wide Kangsavati view outside will fascinate your mind.
