★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Munger Railway Station is now the main rail head for Munger city after Jamalpur Junction . Munger is part of the Malda Division of the Eastern Railway Zone of the Indian Railway. Munger is connected to metropolitan areas of India, Delhi-Kolkata Sahibganj Loop via Kiul - Rampurhat route and Barauni - Katihar line through recently opened Rail cum Road Munger Ganga Bridge.Munger has also a get a new line for bhagalpur through daulatpur colony jamalpur without going to JMP called Jamalpur Y-Leg. The new Munger railway station is located at 25.22°N 86.28°E It has an average elevation of 59 metres (194 ft). The station is located about 0 km from Mungercity. Currently 4 pairs of DEMU trains are running and Some Special Express trains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a railway station in Malda division. There is a railway over bridge on the river Ganga connecting the city Munger and Begusarai & Khagadia. Munger is the welcome station at one end of the bridge for all the trains crossing the bridge. This station now connects Jamalpur(A main railway junction on New Farakka-Kiul line ), city Munger, Begusarai & Khagadia(A station on Barauni-Katihar line).
It's very convinent now for the commuters across the river Ganga. Happy journey strangers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Present location of train icon is that of previous railway station which has been closed and line is no longer in use. A new railway station has been constructed on broad gauze line after construction of Munger Ganga Bridge and station is already mapped there.

It just takes 2:35 hours to travel from saharsa to Munger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is new railway bridge created in 2016, very limited trains are running on it, road ways service is not ready it will be ready by year 2023 march, but not mention confirmed date. After starting this road it will be the best communication with north Bihar.
