Chandigarh municipal corporation must learn one thing that when the system earns revenue from business establishments in city. They must also cooperate with them. Businesses at both ends means prosperity for all of us. Still will give u four star.

Chandigarh roads are first time in the history are in such a derelicted condition that people are driving wearing helmets and still they are falling prey to accident due to potholes and bad condition of roads. Vehicles are damaged and some scooter drivers have died on the spot because of poor roads. They are charging high prices all over the city and still failed to give basic amenities. Shame on them!! Fie on them!! Whole system should be computerized and online.

The M.C. has done a good job by removing vendor s from sector 17. Now my suggestion is that in the direction of beautification all the show room owners be given notices asking them to repair their outer face of buildings and give fresh coat of same colour or m.c. should do the job and charge the expense s from owners or occupants .

The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh, India was formed within the Union Territory of Chandigarh under the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act in 1976. The corporation was later extended to the union territory, Chandigarh, by the Punjab Municipal Corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act, 1994 (Act No.45 of 1994), which came in effect on May 24, 1994. Under a provision of Section 47 of the act, M.P. Tyagi was appointed as first Commissioner of the Corporation w.e.f. on June 19, 1995. Tyagi continued to exercise mayoral powers until December 23, 1994, when the first meeting of the elected body of the Corporation was held. Tyagi was succeeded as Commissioner by S.K. All personnel of the Municipal Corporation work under the Commissioner's supervision and control.[11] The current Municipal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is K.K Yadav Chandigarh being a city-state, and a Union Territory does not have a legislative assembly of its own, even though it hosts the legislative assemblies of two states Punjab & Haryana, being a common capital of both states. The MCC is one of the most powerful local authorities in Bharat as it serves both as a regional and local authority.

This office, like the majority of government departments, delays most of the work. The amount of time they take to complete every task is far too high. Make every effort to arrive early with plenty of time. And if you do so, there are high chances that your work gets done at the end of the day.
