Muthyalamaduvu is a tourist attraction located near Anekal, Karnataka. The place is also known as Pearl Valley. It is located 5km from Anekal and 40km from Bangalore. From the Anekal-Thally Road, visitors take a right turn to reach Muthyalamaduvu.

The place is beautiful and pleasant. Greenery all around. Very little water flows presently. Good place for picnic. There are a lot of monkeys.

Nothing much to do there...water is less. May be it's seasonal. Beware of monkeys. But you need to pay 40 for entry and 40 for parking for four wheeler and 20/- for two wheeler. It's calm and quite.

Want a getaway from hustle and bustle of city. Visit Pearl valley/Muthyalamadagu. You need to climb down through steps 300+, very well maintained granite steps, with railings on each side. Seasonal falls, water flow depends on seasonality, it will be good to visit during monsoon to see it in full flow. Paddle Boating facility is also available on the top. There is a temple down below of Sri Muthayleshwara. There are 2 sit out viewpoints on the way down and the scenic view is mesmerizing. It's very near to Bangalore, 1 hr drive. You can trek on the nearby hillocks at your own risk.

The waterfall itself is not worth visiting. Did not trek much but climbed one of the hills. The valley looked great from there. There is a small pond where it seems provision has been made for boating. Beside it a government run restaurant with limited menu overlooking the valley on one side. The bathroom did not have running water but was clean and maintained.

The water fall must be an seasonal event. During the month of December, the water was just trickling down. What is great about MM is the trecking experience in the canopy of wild trees and shrubs. All this is just 45 minutes away from Bangalore. The state government run restaurant and hotel is nice but the local goons charge money just outside the location.

Wonderful pleasent place. Out of traffic and into nature. Amazing place, well maintained. Due to restrictions they are fully booked for weekends. They close by 5-5:30max. Water from the falls that stores down there isn't so clean. But a nice eye sight to watch. Kids from local enjoy themselves out there. It was fun watching them playing and hoping they would catch a fish or two. There is a restaurant, boating in the evenings.
