★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Ambience. The Biriyani was good. The fish pepper fry was brilliant. The Chinese rice and chicken manchurian was below average. The staff was courteous but a little amateur in handling guests. Overall not a bad experience. The food though, without the discount is overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated inside Nazrul Tirtha Movie theater, at right side corner from entrance. Great Ambiance with white decor inside. Polite and courteous staffs. Food taste is awesome here. Though food is little bit overpriced as per quantity. different kebab dishes are must try here.
They do not have card payment facility..Only cash and UPI and wallet based payments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not meet my expectations at all. I booked this restaurant for a family lunch party of 25 on 17th April 2022. Being within the Nazrul tirtha Campus, the location and ambience is excellent. But, the restaurant failed to keep up with the expected standard. Following are the shortcomings faced:
1. Poor AC functionality. Even after our repeated request, they failed to fix up the problem. Result - two super senior guests and one child fell ill.
2. Starter started after repeated request, just before the lunch hour. Half of our guests were not served.
3. Veg dal was one of the items, that was being served with a tablespoon !!!, Even after we told them to use a proper serving spoon, they did not oblige.
4. 1st Fish item - not repeated. 2nd fish item - repeated once.
5. Mango chutney - stock finished, could not repeat at all.
6. One food item was not of fresh quality, they did not agree or acknowledge.
7. The package cost of Rs 1100/plate is way too expensive considering the service, food quality and restaurant ambience.
Reported our issues to the Owner, Mr Santanu Hazra and Floor manager, Mr SuraJit Mondal, but they did nothing than to apologize for our inconvenience. I did the mistake of fully paying them.
It appeared that they were trying to save on food quantity by restricting the serving. To my estimate, total food quantity distributed was not more than 17-18 full plate equivalent.
PLEASE THINK TEN TIMES BEFORE BOOKING THIS RESTAURANT FOR ANY PARTY OR PERSONAL EVENT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New to the area we wanted to try a restaurant that would be in a walking distance. And hence Nababiana. However it was a let down. The biriyani was not flavorful. Maybe it was a day off for the chef, but it was bland ,with hardly any salt . The fried rice was good and noodles though too oily, was quite tasty. However the garlic chicken ,which when specifically asked ,was not supposed to be too spicy . But man it could kill with its pungent heat! How much hotter would the hot garlic chicken then be! Intense!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nababiana is one among the moderate restaurants in kolkata. We have been to Nababiana to understand how a Nabab feels unfortunately the food experience was not awesome, but yes it was definitely OK.
In the beginning we had soft drinks those were good. The starters were nice. The kebabs got both its quality and tastes, though we expected much better food quality.
The Biryani was Okiesh. The Biryani Rice was light and was non spicy. We had Chicken Biryani, though the portion of the chicken was not at all at par according to its price range.
Let's talk about the ambience. The ambience is really good and spacious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and classy restaurant with nice food. We celebrated our kids birthday party there. We booked complete restaurant. All the decoration and food arrangements done was fabulous. The staff were very helpful and the service was outstanding. Thanks a lot team for making my child’s birthday memorable.
