I'll try to provide the clearest possible picture as per my personal experience.
To start with, experiments and practicals aren't performed in laboratories in this school. Students are simply asked to mug up all the practicals (including the numerical data involved, which is supposed to be observed by students during the experiment), instead of performing them. The blame was shifted to COVID, but if classes and exams can be conducted, then why not practicals? I'm about to go to class 12th and I haven't been taken to any laboratory even once.
There is no subject of computer science in this school. Hindi and Sanskrit are taught here, but no CS. Consequently, the students here are incapable of writing even a 10 line Python code.
There are no smart classes here (atleast for middle and higher classes). The educomp is used once or twice a year, and the sound system is so bad that it's good for absolutely nothing.
The library here is dismal too. You cannot even find all the Harry Potter books here, which tells everything. And I'm not being allowed to issue a book since the last 2 years despite owning a library card. The blame was again imposed on COVID.
I study PCM from my coaching, so I'm not really concerned about how it's taught here, but just to give you an idea, chapters like equilibrium and thermodynamics were skipped, whole conics was finished in two days and et cetera.
The classes and playground are minuscule. And there's just basketball and table tennis in the name of sports. The school badly lacks in extracurricular activities. For example, there's neither Scout nor Red Cross here.
Some teachers (but not all) are good and have knowledge of their subject.
