Nagpur-Nagbhir is a narrow gauge route of 110 km which connects to Gondia- Balharshah (280 km Broad gauge) route at Nagbhir Junction railway station. Gondia- Balharshah line was converted to broad gauge in 1999. Conversion to broad gauge of Nagpur-Nagbhir line has been approved and is expected to commence soon. There is a beautiful railway colony adjacent to the station which adds to the beauty of the town with a garden, children's park and a good playground. This colony is surrounded by 350 acres empty land belonging to railways which may be useful for the railway industry, store or workshop if planned well.

I visit here many times. Nagbhir junction have awesome food facilities available 24 hours. Nagbhir Junction have 3 platform for broad gauge lines an 2 platform for Narrow gauge lines...... Foot over bridge available here for approach from one platform to another platform.... Foot over bridge Work done recently here ........

Narrow gauge line was once here.. but now it's being disassembled.. it's a nice and peaceful place.. distant from the crowd, traffic and busy life of the City.. there are some railway colony and quarters, running room, rpf office, officer's rest house, subordinate rest house, Play ground, gardens.. market is quite far from here, village nagbhir is nearby, some shops are in the premise which will provide morning breakfast and tea. But not even a single general store is here.. that sucks. So better if you have a transport option...overall you'll enjoy here if you want peace
