It has been set up by Nahar Foundation, a Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act.The school follows the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) curriculum till Grade X. It also offers an IB Diploma Programme affiliated to the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) Geneva, Switzerland for grades XI and XII.
These curriculums set a global standard for education and help students avail the best of knowledge for their overall development.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good school, takes Care of kids very well, good methodology to teach kids, works on concepts, lots of extra curricular and sports activities.....and last but not the least most of the staffs and management are full of compassion. They listen patiently and ready to Change for good. My daughter loved it....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am editing my review for just one reason-The presence of mind showed by their management when a huge fire erupted near the school.They controlled it in time until fire brigade arrived.Hats off to them.
This school just plays loud music 24×7 and gives ground for cricket matches,etc. which is an added noise pollution.They do not care about the residents living around.Very bad.They park their buses in common passageway meant for walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids were enrolled in NIS for a couple of years. Compared to the public schools in northeast USA,our experience was disappointing. The rigor was missing in the elementary grades. They claim to use the Scholastic reading scale; but don’t share the Scholastic level of your child. So you wouldn’t know what books to buy for your kids. Their official line is “we don’t want you to compare your kid with others”. The teachers didn’t quite seem to know much about the Scholastic system. The math level isn’t up to the international standards. They claim to have great scores in IGCSE tests but none of those tests are administered at independent testing centers; so their veracity is doubtful. The extracurricular activities were pitiful. Retention of teachers was another issue.
For us, this felt like a school where wealthy parents sent their kids; without introspection of what their kids were learning.
If you are a returning NRI, there are much better schools in the Powai area. They may not have the fancy facilities but certainly compensate in other areas.

Very flat surfaces and we'll maintained area.
Easy for catching and diving, minimal chances of getting your clothes dirty. There is open area for tennis/basket ball /etc. besides the cricket box area.
Go get your higher scores if you get an opportunity on this ground.
our team, cleared all the rounds in this ground and moved to bigger ground in Goregaon sports club.
