★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good railway station, well connected with Kharagpur and Kolkata with plenty of suburban trains throughout the day. Station is a bit crowdy. Vegetable market is there adjacent to the station. Fans and lights are also working well. Also a famous destination for railfanning and train spotting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, small suburban Railway Station in Howrah-Kharagpur Section of South Eastern Railway.People from distant places come to this Railway Station to avail local trains to different destinatios towards Howrah and Kharagpur. The station is less crowded yet is very useful for the residents of surrounding villages.The cleanliness issue has a scope of improvement.
