Nanoshel is the trading name of the Intelligent Materials Pvt Limited (IMPL) group of companies. We specialise in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (N&N), more specifically focused on the fabrication of a wide range of engineered nanomaterials, nanocompounds, formulations and intermediaries. Nanotechnology holds promise to increase the sustainability of a wide range of industrial sectors. Indeed, this diverse field of synthetic material engineering offers both eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing through cleaner, more efficient production processes. As a group, we stand to the forefront of embracing these innovations.

Our Facilities

Headquartered in India IMPL/Nanoshel, with subsidiary companies based in UK/EIRE (Nanoshel UK Limited) and the United States (Nanoshel LLC), we are a worldwide leader in the fabrication of engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) and specialty materials. Trading since 2005, Nanoshel are ranked among the top global producers by volume of nanomaterials across the primary thematic classes of carbons, ceramics, metals, metal alloys and photonics. Our focus caters for both research and industrial-scale volumes. Since our formation we have developed an active customer base in excess of 18,000 downstream users of nanomaterials spanning the globe ranging from multi-nationals, corporates, national laboratories, research institutes, government agencies and universities.

Expansion

As a company we are continually expanding. Nanoshel's six acre fabrication facility in India is firmly established, currently meeting our global customer demand, processing in excess of 5,000 individual orders annually. As a company however, we have planned additional capacity in Europe to cater for increased demand for nanotechnology solutions in areas as diverse as energy storage, oil / gas, automotive, polymers, electronics, agriculture and construction.

We aim by 2024 to build Europe's largest nanomaterials fabrication site by capacity volume, complimenting our industrial presence in Asia. Nanoshel's UK, Europe / Americas fabrication plant expansion is earmarked to go live by 2024 situated in Ireland / Northern Ireland on a state-of-the-art five acre site we have secured in the Ulster border region. This expansion will further embed our global presence providing our customers with 24 hour access to industrial scale capacity in advanced material solutions across Asia to Europe and the Americas.
