★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay. So, bill collection and stuff is fine. And the staff are not misbehaving or anything - they did not misbehave to me during the 7-8 times I visited the place. But when it comes to service, everything goes to a different zone. Plenty of Power Cuts, in a time when India is said to be in a Power Excess condition. Too many load sheds and cutouts. During a 3-day period around 14th June 19, the power went out 10 times. Also, as I am writing this, on a hot, humid day, 9th July, 12 p.m. the Power has been Down from 8 in the morning. The Customer Care said it will be back by 4:30. 8 and a half hour power cut, JUST WOW. I used to reside in Vejalpur area, with Torrent supply a fee years back. And they didn't have these 8 hour cuts during summer. UGVCL, at places, need to step their game up.

Frankly speaking another lame government entity. My house comes under their limits and these people cut the electricity on regular basis without looking at the time or season.
People working there are same as other government entities Lame, corrupt, lethargic and ill mannered.
May the government do something if they really wish to change our country.
These people cut electricity on every Tuesday day's from Morning 8 AM for almost 8 hours, and that too on a hot humid day and when you talk to their customer support they say that they are doing Maintenance. I don't know why do they need to do maintenance on every Tuesday.

Building is very good.
But as always the service quality of the power is very poor.
Many power interruption.
Staff is not so helpful. You can't ever reach on the Helpline number of the office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In short review - privatization is the best option. Their employees do their job as a dog as when we do a call then they give an answer by barking only. Because they do not believe in a solution. They cut light by telling that your bill is pending and when the actual bill comes and went back with that bill and ask for a real reason then they said that we do not know about it. I hope at least they know the reason for their existence on this earth.
