★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Centre government has taken the decision to establish the 5th national data centre in the year 2018. Bhopal has been short listed in for the same in June 2018.
On 18th June central information and broadcast minister Shri Ravishankar prasad has announced in New Delhi regarding the national data center at bhopal. Immediately Govt has alloted 5 acre land in badwai at New Jail Road near IT Park in Bhopal.
This will provide the huge data storage capacity to the state of Bhopal and to the nearby states.
National information Centre has taken the responsibility of the establishment of this data centre they has set the target to complete the structural by 2021.
As per the NIC Bhopal Centre will be the first green data centre for the India, which will be of tire 4 type and will based on cloud 1 technology where there will be five lakh virtual servers will provide connectivity to whole India as it is situated in the middle of the the country.
