The place has a large board which displays the temperature and humidity levels which is sometimes incorrect.

It comes under the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. Of INDIA.
NIH has it's Headquarters at Roorkee and it got Six regional centres at Jammu, Guwahati, Patna, Bhopal, Belgam and Kakinada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) is inside campus of IIT Roorkee but it's independent body. It has beautiful campus with hi-tech 'Manthan' a common hall for meeting, interviews and all.
I visited this, for my Project Associate Job.
Go with complete photocopied doc's of your to attend interview here. Otherwise you may have to go far outside market for the same.
The Staffs are flexible to deal.
