★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The National Institute of Training for Standardization (NITS) was set up under the aegis of BIS in 1995 to meet the growing needs and expectations of the industry for quality training in the fields of standardization, quality assurance, management systems, certification, laboratory testing, etc. Since then NITS has been organizing various types of training programmes for industry as well as for consumer bodies and common man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No rating system can scale down my euphoria of happening at NITS as an induction trainee for 26th batch of BIS, and I can say it was amongst the best spent days of my life at NITS where I was trained in wide ranging activities of BIS in field of certification, standards formulation, laboratory works, hallmarking and consumer affairs handling.
The tree shaded and tranquil campus of NITS is such a delight with its infrastructure loaded with 3 highly equipped training halls including a state-of-art computer lab and an auditorium.
The team of highly qualified and estimmed faculty make the learning lot easier with their uncontested soft spoken skills and soft corner for the backbenchers.
Looking forward to visit again soon!!

Training course design for each subject is quite relevant for industry.
Faculty selected for training are having very good knowledge and provide good support during training.
Hostel facility also available.
