★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful place which has been neglected by the authorities as there is no proper route to go to the arch and a lot of garbage and dirt near the arch. Even the water is not clean you can find plastic bags and bottles in it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are quite a few famous beaches in Visakhapatnam but I feel this one deserves to be up there. Unlike all the other beaches, the Thotlakonda beach/ Mangamatipetta Beach grabs our eyeballs with its natural arch. Around 10 km from Bhimili, Thotlakonda is also known for a second century Buddhist monastery which was discovered only in the late 1900’s and is almost in ruins. If given the right push, this place can catch the attention of travel enthusiasts from world over. I was surprised I know that not many in Vizag know that a beach with natural rock arch exists in the first place. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got to know about this place from social media. Went there and was very happy to find this natural arch. Its very beautiful and different from what we see in other vizag beaches. No crowd area and peaceful. Mostly people visit here for pre wedding photoshoots.

Surroundings dirty.?
No Proper maintenance even though it is a Tourist Spot.?
??Any Beach Areas, Day Time Travel is Best and Preferred.
Surrounding Highly Polluted. Very Dirty.
Your Eyes are the witness.
?Nature is mostly and always Beautiful ?BUT the approach is allergic. The surroundings does not give the impression of a Tourist Spot or Tourist Place.
?? People or Tourists do not have the HABIT of using Dustbins.
??Narrow Roads. Drive very carefully. Villages around.
??Animals or Children or Drunken Fellows can come suddenly.
?? There is NO Traditional Andhra Telugu Organic Tiffin or Snacks Center.?
?? The Tourist Spot has no Emergency Shelter or Restroom or Fresh Drinking Water and Toilets.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located around 25-30 kms away from city of Vizag. The natural arch is small and not a place which you shouldn’t miss in your life. But the beach and surroundings are clean,serene and definitely a place where you can spend quality time. The place can be visited not for the arch only,but also to enjoy the breeze and beauty of Bay of Bengal.
