Navayug School was an experiment that was started in 1973 by a group of visionaries including Mrs. Uma Prasad, the wife of then Lt. Governer of Delhi and Mr. Dar, a noted educationist. The school went on to create a unique community of teachers and students, who though now separated by time and geography still have a feeling of belonging to this larger purpose for which Navayug stands.

β β β β β Had a quite long and childhood association with this school even though I hadn't studied here. My mother who is a teacher in Navyug School was posted here for a few years and moreover I used to reside nearby only. Summer workshops were used to be held here and me and my childhood friends were active participants here. Dramatics, painting, dancing and also there is a swimming pool within its territory. This school has churned out many IAS officers but no longer such is the case.
