The dam is huge but smaller than Itiadoh. A place to picnic with family and guest houses if you want to stay. A small garden and a cook to cook you snacks. Jhunka bhakar is what people prefer here. The tree house is fresh. Boating is not started or maybe stopped for some reasons. This is surrounded by mountains so bringing all the fresh air to the ground. Cooking is not allowed here so bring your own food.

Navegaon Dam,is.located in the Gondia district in Arjuni Taluka...Main purpose of this dam is provided water for irrigation...Small eateries ,,,Boating,,,and large crowds can be seen on weekends,,who come to enjoy one day picnic... Usually there is rush on weekends ,, otherwise it is a very peaceful place to be.

It's a very quiet place. Nowadays water level in the dam is not as earlier. But still it is a great place to be enjoyed with family and friends. The scenic beauty is great to give pleasure to your heart and mind. It is just around 140 KM's from Nagpur.

Navegaon National Park is located in the Gondia District in eastern Maharashtra. The sanctuary is spread across 134 sq km, comprising southern mixed dry deciduous forest, with the main tree species being teak, haldu, jamun, kawat, mahua, ain, bel and bor. The centrepiece of this wonderful place is the Navegaon Lake, which covers an area of 11 sq km. The Navegaon Lake is actually a catchment of Navegaon Dam, which was built in the 18th century by Kolhu Patil at a cost of Rs. 64,000. Patil belonged to the Kohali community, which is credited to have helped farmers overcome their dependency on rains. The Kohali community with their ingenuity, hard work and sound technical knowledge, constructed numerous tanks so that they could harvest one assured crop – rice or sugarcane – in a year.
