★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is a housing complex developed by West Bengal Housing Board in the year 1997. Neelam Abasan is consisted of 14 apartments having 16 flats in each of it. The facility is also having 2 play grounds & a puja mandap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Government housing complex. Water and electricity supply is good here. But locality is not so much developed. But communication system is good here because of DHALAI KARKHANA BUS STOP(Belghoria Express Way),Durganagar Railway station and Noapara Metro Railway station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It used to be my residence. Having very suitable location, right beside Delhi Road(Belgharia Express Way). Also accessible from Durganagar, Barahanagar, Dakhshineshwar Railway Stations very easily. Nearest Metro Railway Station is Noapara. Just 2kms. away and easily reachable via auto. Can be reached via public commutes at any time of night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place with lots of greens. Traffic is moderate. It's connected with the Belghariya expressway. If you're coming from airport chances are there will be less number of buses after 9 pm. Tata magic vans are available though. They charge you 10 INR before 9 pm and 15 INR after 9 pm.
This place has no nearby petrol pumps, schools or hospital.
The people are friendly. This is a quiet place. But you'll get bored if you stay here long. Dakhineshwar is close by. Bus fare is 7 INR, Magic vans takes 10 INR. From Dakhineshwar you can cross the Ganges in a jetty and reach Belur Math if you want to visit. You can find buses for Bongaon, barasat, Burdwan, Dunlop, Dakhineshwar, Bally halt, Digha.
Nearest railway stations are Durganagar, Baranagar and Bally halt. From Bally halt you can get a lot of trains for Sealdah, Howrah and also long distance trains.
Best place to stay after retirement.
There are lots of lakes around. If you like to go fishing you will like it.
Overall it's a good place ?.
