Doctor Mr.Mitesh Kakkad is v.much experienced, friendly and easy going person.Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when my daughter was not feeling well and the result can be much less than pleasant. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the Neo children hospital made me feel that my child is in safe hands. I must say staff is very polite and knowledgeable too.. They give quick response to your problems. I would like to recommend Neo children hospital for your child better health..Thank you Mitesh sir and all the staff for such a good treatment and care for my daughter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience was quite different then other people who have given 5 stars ratings. It wasn't delightful experience to consult here for us,
We find the doctor very busy in other things not attending the patient as he should be. And due to that my child lost 500g of weight in just 3 days.
Here is what happened with us,
After born my son had fever in 4-5 days so we went to visit the doctor and he said Its due to jaundice and dehydration, So we will need to hospitalise him. We had no choice obviously and we admitted my son. He didn't even say what type of room you want, or not discussing any cost upfront. [Here it's our fault as well not to ask him about the cost before we take any decision] So we ignored this point later.
During night we only had support of single staff member, I'm not sure even if he was doctor/nurse or not. We were asked to track the diapers and baby's weight on some interval, It was us who reminded them about few things and write down. Doctor used to visit us 2-3 times in a day which is good, but again he did not have time to answer our questions. He was just running for other things.
Long story short, after 3 days we were home and my son was feeling good now.
Now we had to revisit the doctor after a week. But urine output wasn't that good after 1 day of discharge so we visited the doctor in 2 days and we found out that he again lost his weight by 300g. [When we visited him, he went for a car test drive asking us to wait in a waiting room, That's really not a professional manner to attend any patient while their 10-15 days child is suffering from something] On this day Doctor again asked us to wait for 3 more days and revisiting him.
In these 3 days my child again lost 500g of weight, and when we consulted another doctor he said losing this much weight after 7 days can be problematic for child's health. Problem was, he was not getting enough food and the solution was to give supplemented food.
So if we have started the supplemented food before waiting for 3 more days, my kid should not have to suffer this much. As a doctor he should know when and what decision to make so that newborn and their parents doesn't suffer.
Note: I'm not furious because I've paid huge fees for hospitalisation, but because the overall experience we had at this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff.. Rude doctor.. My child was suffering from a fever I went to the hospital.. They advise to admit we follow them and admit her afternoon . But my baby's health not recover.. They give her injection whole day but still temperature was 104 not even 1 degree discrease so we can't take passions now and when we told to the doctor about my child's health he said I can't do anything at the time of 12 o'clock at night... He do nothing and even he came to the room to check my baby... I am very disappointed.. and we decided to take her to another hospital at a midnight. In my life I didn't met this kind of doctor...sry I can't tell him doctor now. and they charged 9000 For doing nothing...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever with this Doctor. He is highly unprofessional person. Whenever we visit him he was available at hospital and suddenly he went somewhere each n every time.And we had waited like hour each n every time though my kid was only one week old. One we visit him for checkup he went for Car's test drive. And my kid was suffering with some pain. We hospitalised him because he had jaundice. and his charges touch the sky.Though the room facilities, cleanliness nursing everything was like zero.As It was child hospital no cleanness.It was worst then government hospital. Please consult other doctor for better consultation for your kids.

Lately I visited Dr Kakkad and he help us out with diagnosing & treating the disease.
He is one of the best doctor in Ahmedabad. Everyone in his staff i.e. Udaybhai, Twinkle & Divya Madam are very supportive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Mitesh kakad is cooperative and excellent doctor . He is very briliiant in diagnosis. My son was suffering frequently from coughing. He treated my son very well and now health of my son is improved drastically. Staff is very cooperative. He does not force antibiotics unless they are necessary.
According to me, he is the best pediatrician in Ahmedabad.
