★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the New Delhi - Pune rail route, it is a small railway station in Madhya Pradesh. Only DEMU trains have stoppage here. Maintenance and hygiene are also good. There are many stalls for food on platform 1 but due to corona pandemic, they all are closed. Overall it was a great experience here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The station is very clean and surrounded by nature, beautiful views. It has 2 platforms. The only draw back is it doesn't have the coach number display screen that's why it is quite difficult to guess where particular coach is going to be located.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nepanagar railway station serves the town of Nepanagar and it's neighbouring villages like Mandwa, Chandni, Siwal, Ratagarh etc. It has 2 platforms with well covered sheds and have a foot over bridge. Automated announcements and electronic train display boards are available. Computerized, reserved and un-reserved tickets can be booked from here. There is also a SBI ATM outside the railway station. One refreshment stall is available in platform no 1. There is a siding available for goods train in the railway station. Also there is siding for goods train towards Nepanagar paper mill.
Previously many trains used to halt at Nepanagar railway station for example:- Kamayani express, Janta express, kashi express, Mahanagri Express, Kolkata Mail, Nagpur Intercity express, Bhusawal Katni passenger and Bhusawal Itarsi passenger. However only two trains halt these days Kushinagar express and Mumbai Amritsar Express.
The train timings are similar in both ways up and down. Passengers and daily commuters to neighbouring cities like Burhanpur and Khandwa are facing difficulties these days. Considering the population of Nepanagar and neighbouring villages, railways should provide 3-4 more daily trains at different timings.
