I wanted to get rid of my specatcles and was planning for lasik, he told me about a newer technique of spectacle removal SMILE available only at this centre in Uttar Pradesh. Was more costly then lasik but he told me pros and cons of both and i went for it.My vision was perfect only 2 days after surgery.

They give you enough time to arrive at the right number, and I would especially like to credit Nandini (if I am getting the name right) for the effort she puts in. The doctor explains the malaise in detail and answers all questions that one might be curious about. Provides the rationale for the treatment as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Problem: High Myopia in both eyes ~7.5 spherical and 1.5 cylendrical power. I was wearing glasses for 22 years and wanted to get rid off them at an age of 33.
Diagnosis at Netrabhawan: They did topography, dilation and other tests of cornea and retina and found that my right eye had developed cataract- probably because of side effects of covid steroids that I took an year back.
Solution: There were 2 young doctors who explained the problem, and it's solution in great detail to me. Dr. Anubhi and Dr. Aditya. Both were calm, experienced, and gave a detailed description of the issue and it's resolution. The number of surgeries they were doing per day (around 50) made it very clear to me that I am in safe hands.
Trifocal Toric is what they suggested as the best option to treat my right eye and Relex Smile for the left eye.
Surgery of left eye: I was in and out of the surgery room in less than 5 minutes. Relex smile is awesome. No issues at all. Before going in...I had all the scenes of Final Destination movie running in my head but Dr Aditya and Anubhi were very interactive during the surgery so I didn't even realise it before they said Shiva, we are done. Surgery went well....
Surgery of right eye: The entire Pachauri family is made up of eye surgeons. This time I was operated by Dr Aditya's father - Dr. Ashok. This one took longer than the previous operation, but in the end everything was fine.
Cost: They charge what they tell you upfront. No hidden cost, no extra charge, no late addition. I chose the costliest options because my case needed them but you may opt for lesser expensive ones.
Stay: I stayed in P l Palace and Holiday Inn respectively for both the surgeries. Both are good.
Followup: They recommend a followup after 10 days and stay in touch for any problems after surgery despite being on a busy schedule.
I really appreciate the fact that they are operating a lot of people in need for free as a part of Jan Seva...
Keep up the good work guys... You are doing a noble work. I feel better each day about my decision of getting everything done from here....
