★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awasome food. We ate cheese garlic nun with paneer korma and vegetable biriyani. Good ambiance. Fast delivery. Courtois behaviour of staff.
We also had breakfast in the morning. The onion tomato uttappam was mind blowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this place many times but this time I had south Indian food !! That was amazing !! I ordered sada paper dosa ( INR 189/-) AND THIS dosa is enough for 2 people!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New Alka is a great affordable restaurant to have South Indian and North Indian food in Vadodara. The fatehgunj branch is the best one among the Alka chain restaurants. I personally like their Punjabi dishes the most. The cheese paneer masala was so good, it had cubes of cheese in it which melted so easily in my mouth and it had a perfect balance of spices. The Masala Papad was crispy and nice. Buttermilk was cool and soothing. Then the mango shake with ice cream was really delicious. The servers don't bother you much but are always a signal away. They have both AC as well as non ac seatings. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge you more if you dine in the AC hall. But still this is a must visit place at least once.
