★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place for the budget biriyani (less than Rs.100). Kabab is worth for the price tag. If you want to try parotta and meaty kothu parotta (minced parotta with egg & chicken meat), along with Tamil Nadu style kurma, then this is one rare place you may find in Bangalore.
Pros: Budget meal, Tamil Nadu style food
Cons: Space constraints, Biriyani is served with burnt masala layer that they can avoid easily.
Though they claim Halal, chicken meat comes without proper cleaning of inner organs and definitely it is not pleasing. Inner organs such as lungs will contain blood, so they should be removed before cooking the meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just tried their Biryani. Not at all Ambur style Biryani. The rice was over-cooked and Chicken pieces were half-cooked. Was very blunt in taste. Yet to try their Parotta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very average place, the food is pretty cheap the meat was well cooked and the Biryani itself was average yet not bad and definitely is a one time try if you're into trying something different. I also tried the kababs with were not really good. Overall pretty average spot yet not the worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average place for biryani. Ambur is one of type it's to give a hot biryani in the sense of spices. Now days you will find this Ambur biryani stops almost everywhere in Bangalore. But again they are not imitating the recipes well. Because of that I am not a great fan of Ambur biryani shops. Although I am great admirer of Biryani. If you see their menu they have sweet specific things on their menu with a nominal pricing but again the style of cooking and serving is not up to the mark. If you see their hygiene maintain quality you can't have the food there. I simply can't understand what ever type of eatery you are. You can maintain the place in a decent manner. That will attract more foot falls to your joint. So, the verdict one time eating experience.
