New Barauni Junction - Baro (South)

It is really a good junction whole facilities available except wheel chair

New barauni Station is good but only one plateform here. It's improvement is faster. Patna, Mokama route is traveling here.

Very few train stay here if you travelling from patna to begusarai or Katihar most of train go through from this station but not stoppage.

Quite good Barauni Junction railway station (station code BJU), is a railway station in the Sonpur division of East Central Railway. Barauni Junction is located in Barauni city in Begusarai district in the Indian state of Bihar.In February 2012, The Indian Railways had planned to set up a Railway Station Development Corporation (RSDC) that will work on improving the major railway stations including Muzaffarpur Junction by building and developing Restaurants, shopping areas and food plaza for commercial business and improving passenger amenities.The major facilities available are waiting rooms, computerized reservation facility and vehicle parking.[4] The vehicles are allowed to enter the station premises. The station also has STD/ISD/PCO telephone booth, toilets, tea stall, fruit stall, dairy stall, meal stall and book stall.Barauni Junction has 9 platforms.Platform no.1 will be again rebuilt here. Its an good option for trains to save time. i.e. the ??????? dont have to go main Junction and spent hours to get Locomotive change and get lines cleared to depart. This saves a lot of time of many long distance trains.

New barauni junction has been created near barauni junction on by pass line. that goes to Begusarai and Hathidah jn. I will not recommended to drop at this new barauni jn in night to change the train .

New railway station Under construction... ( March 2021) If you want Board from here to your destination , options is good but please if you are traveling alone and it's train timing is in between sunset to sunrise, then don't stay there. Because after sunset it's completely empty there plus as of security concern better not to stay there. Else is your choice. Better to take train from Begusarai junction.
