But it's very crowded with no social distancing in waiting hall (ac) and no vigilance by the authorities.

One of the busiest railway station of the world that is located at the heart of longest rail network of Asia, NDLS is equipped with 16 platforms with all facilities located nearby.
You have to pardon the authorities for some minor issues considering the fact that this station is located in the capital city that receives crowd from all over India (second largest populous nation of the world).
