It's like an arcade with multiple shops from dress material, artifacts, footwear and eatries. This is just the new look whereas the old market still prevails and attracts similar number of crowd. The wadi papad shops are quite famous amongst the few to mention. The Amritsar juttis are quite famous so make sure to buy one on your trip. Make sure you are a bargain Hunter as the shopkeepers keep a very high margin or selling price. The dress materials are quite reasonable and amazing variety.
