★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've only ordered from here from swiggy so can't comment about the in person experience. The mutton that we got was very fresh and hygienically prepared (I know because I saved half and it lasted much longer in the fridge than Dorabjee's mutton. This means the shop is very clean). Chicken thighs were disappointing though.
I ordered ribs and chops. Both were as you would expect. There were a few funny cuts the first time around I ordered from here (they were probably running low on the desired cuts) but the second time I got exactly what I ordered. Overall, taste of mutton was good.
Two downsides were that the mutton was very hadkula (in Marathi. In English I gues you would call it skinny or lean). Most of the taste of red meat comes from a nice layer of fat and the mutton was not fattened up before slaughter (or they cut away all the fat which would be stupid). There was plenty of protein but not enough fat.
Had the same experience with the chicken. Just not enough fat even though I ordered the thighs which is the fattiest cut of the bird.
