Recently, our parent, a resident of Nikisa Dementia Village, had to undergo emergency treatment and was admitted in the ICU. The Nikisa team of Mr. Subramanya, Ms. Momita, Mr. Ravi, the Nikisa doctors team and attender team were diligent in the first diagnosis and identification of the issue, apart from initial treatment provided at the Nikisa center itself. These initial steps made it easier for the doctors at the hospital towards providing hospital-care and further prognosis for the patient. Further, with the blessings of the Almighty, recovery was completed and our parent is back in the Nikisa facility. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the immediate care, quick solution-oriented decision making cadence, communication and forthrightness that the Nikisa team provided, apart from the doctors at the hospital who treated him. This is not just once instance where gratitude is due - but over the last couple of years, it has been extremely pleasing to work with the Nikisa team to provide care to our father. More power to you.

My aunt has cognitive deficiency and could not be taken care at home. We heard from a friend that Nikisa Dementia Village could give her the required care and help. So, we explored the possibility and decided to get her admitted there. The admission procedures went on very smoothly and my aunt also started liking the place, staff and their diet plans. She has made many friends and spends her time taking part in most of morning and evening activities. Her zest for life has rubbed onto many seniors living with similar deficiency issues. Dementia Village focusses on ensuring good quality of life to persons with dementia. The rooms are private, independent, spacious with attached bathrooms, wooden flooring and high quality sturdy furniture . My aunt has a very good personal attendant who understands her needs. The meals are nourishing and my aunt really enjoys it. Although she is aged is not glued to her bed. She is taken to temple, shopping complex and around the park in a wheel chair. She participates in 4 to 5 activities every day. Doctors, nurses, Psychiatrist and Cardiologist keep a continuous vigil on her health and provide everything from toiletries, towels, diapers, underpads, medicines, fruits etc, all within the package charges. Dementia Village sends 5 to 6 videos everyday which gives us an idea about her condition and keeps us informed on a daily basis. We meet her very often and the staff are very supportive. The level of transparency is very reassuring. We are truly happy with the unstinted support and help provided by Dementia village.

My elderly aunt who was living with us slowly started showing signs of forgetfulness, confusion, hallucination, irritation and depression. She was diagnosed as a person with cognitive deficiency when we took her to a neurologist for an assessment. The doctor prescribed medication, which was administered timely, but with passing months there was a greater decline in her cognitive abilities. We started looking at an institutional care facility as it became increasingly difficult to manage her at home. We looked at several care centres but unfortunately, none of them met our expectations. As we were exploring over the internet for dementia care, we chanced upon Nikisa Dementia Village and their ratings were very good. After a brief conversation with one of their executives on the telephone, he invited us to visit their institution the next day. As we entered the campus, the place looked very welcoming, safe and secure. Spread out in a vast area, the greenery and the peaceful ambience of the place made us feel that Dementia Village would be a good choice. After a tour of the place and a detailed conversation with the executive, we were convinced that this was the place for my aunt. It’s over a year now, that my aunt has been staying in Nikisa Dementia Village, which she says is her home. She is comfortable with her individual room, her caregivers and all the activities like exercising, gardening and various games and puzzle solving, which keeps her busy throughout the day. During the trying days when the Covid Pandemic was raging, this institution took strong proactive measures to create a Covid Free and Safe Bubble. Her meals are carefully prepared and fed very lovingly. Doctor, nurses and psychiatrist monitor her mood, medication and vitals constantly. Physiotherapy is given as and when required. Ambulation is given a priority, where she meets and socializes with other individuals on the campus. Without any hesitation I would say that this is the best place for Institutional care of dementia patients.

Nikisa Dementia Village is one of the best care centers for Dementia Patients. They have the best faculty members and doctors who are passionate to treat dementia patients. The entire place is filled with lot of positivity and good atmosphere. They offer the best care and engage the patients throughout the day with day to day activities . The patients there are treated no less than normal person which is the best part. They take up each dementia case as a challenge and strive to provide the best care one can ever get. Very Thankful to Nikisa!

Based on personal recommendations and after reviewing the market, we decided to admit our dad - a PD and Dementia patient - in Nikisa Dementia Village about 5 months ago. So far, we are happy with the level of care and attention being given to him. The daily small video clips of him walking, eating, in physio helps us 'keep in touch'. The fact that there is a dedicated attender reassures us that he's being looked after at all times. The regular medical check-ups and the monthly medical records keeps us in the know in terms of his health condition. The staff, esp. the founder/director Subramanya, are very helpful and responsive. Accepting that a parent with PD and Dementia is better taken care of in a external facility than at home is difficult. Nikisa / DV makes that a little easier. We are grateful for the care our dad's being given and look forward to this level of service continuing.

My father was admitted to the NIKISA Dementia Village and Alzheimer's Hospital for the treatment and management of dementia. He was well looked after. The team is competent and the facility is well rounded for people with dementia. When I had to discharge my father (because an immediate surgical procedure seemed necessary), I realised that NIKISA management is as helpful and friendly during discharge as they had been during and prior to admission - especially the Director and Senior Manager. As for the period that my father was in their care, I am thankful to the staff of the NIKISA Village for all the professional and personalised care they bestowed.

My mother was admitted to Nikisa Dementia centre Bangalore just over 3 months ago. Prior to this she was in a general retirement village, where they were unable to take care of her dementia condition. While looking for alternative treatment centres, I came across Nikisa and decided to visit the centre. I was initially bowled over by the facility, which was not only huge with spacious rooms but built around a nice green park giving it a very homely ambience. Although still cautious, I decided to admit my mother at this centre. During the last 3 months I had the opportunity to constantly liaise with their doctors including their psychiatrist and was very happy on how my mother was monitored and also treated. They were able to identify and treat an infection which my mother was suffering from and was not able to express. I get daily videos of my mother’s activities during the day, which is a real treat. The food looks very sumptuous and there is always plenty of staff in attendance. All in all, after 3 months, I feel that I have made the right decision and feel very comforted for my mother. A big salute to Dr. S. Subramanya and his dedicated team.

The service rendered by the management and the team is amazing. In Aug 2020 my father expired at the age of 99 and my mother who was already into dementia was highly agitated and became worse. Fortunately we were able to locate this place and they admitted her immediately. They are taking care of her nicely since then and she is at peace now. They send her videos daily and they carry out regular blood tests and other tests. Feed back is given regularly. Safety/ cleanliness are given high priority. She gets good balanced diet and regular exercises. Staff are pleasant. Overall my mother is very comfortable there.
