★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had marriage function booked with Nilay Residency and had very bad experience with the service provided. Particularly the catering service proved was worst and they did not fill the dishes in time and try to delay in filling the items so that guests can't wait for an item. By this they cheated us even though contract was to provide sufficient quantity of food during our marriage function. Particularly they delayed filling of prawn, mutton, nan items. The veg. Pulao was worst. Even they are charging full plate for small kids who eat small portions. After reminding the same was repeated on the reception day also. They just want to take full advance so that one can do nothing for their bad service and insufficient food for guests. Very bad experience.

I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone for any event.
Trust me you will be at peace if you don't choose them.
To start with,.they don't even deserve a single star. Worst service ever , I had big plans for my big day but they ruined it completely. Not only they would offend your guests but also you will not even find a single staff to host your guests. And the only big thing "The Food" would be the most disappointing factor.
Here comes the list
1) Room service - You cannot rely, my guests had to wait long before any staff could open the room, 15 times we asked them to give water bottles ,even the washroom taps weren't functioning. No help !
2) Food Quantity: Even if they charge you per plate and the number of plates were pre-decided , the food got over when only 50percent of guests were served.
3) Food Quality was low low low... They served cold food and after a time ,1 hour or so .. there was no starters.My guests were highly disappointed. They don't serve you as per the menu list. Many items would be missing and when asked they would reply "it's coming".
4) While my friends were checking out, they asked them money for water bottles and etc ,while they were already paid for this and evrything was there on paper.
5) They did not give my Decoration team sufficient time to decorate the hall and etc. When they asked they said why don't u utilise the last day stage . I am thankful I had SCS Decor team who could do the beautiful work in such a short span and helped many things which the hotel management did not do.
6) My brother had to pay the caterers off the paper extra so that they could cook and serve.
They just think money... They cannot manage multiple events and 100 pax also,but just for money they take up everything.
I did not had an option for any other Hotel/Banquet Hall as by May only almost all hotels and banquets were booked for the Nov 21 and as they approached me and committed me for best servlce , I considered it which was my biggest mistake till date
I have hosted and attended many events where little things go unnoticed. But this was completely unacceptable.
