★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nili Chhatri Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in Delhi near Jamna Bazaar and dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that the eldest Pandava brother, Prince Yudhishthira of Mahabharata, established the temple and the Nigambodh Ghat adjacent to it, and conducted Aswamedha yajna from here.
The temple give divine feeling of self-containment as it is in the vicinity of Nigam Bodh Ghat. Hence Karmas shall be pious to every human.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peace and clean temple but the surroundings are really poor, you can see slum area around it and every time I visit it (specially on Sunday) fully drunk people ask you to give more liquor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ancient Shiva temple said to be built by the Pandava King Yudhishthir situated very close to the Nigambodh ghat. Yamuna flows just across the road and one can spend some time on the ghats also. Well maintained temple where one can go and sit peacefully. A luxury you can't afford at most hindu temples these days. Really loved the old world vibes of this temple.
