★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place use to be a must visit place for foodies. But recently their item specifically has gone down bellow average. The only saving grace is their name that was build over the year.
I am giving then 1 star extra because they use desi ghee atleast mixed with dalda. And at least there sweets are average.
This place is no longer the same nirala shop which was lauded by people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try regular sweets... We liked the Rasmalai... However, we tried this green ball sized sweet, which they said would be like a fruit after cutting it, the outer layer was made of cream, the inner layer was too juicy with sugar syrup dripping, didn't like it... It was too sweet, never try it... This shop is also famous for 'black gajar ka halwa', we didn't dare to taste it, it was literally looking as if the grated carrots were burnt in charcoal to make that sweet...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried the famous Aloo Tikki Chaat and Papdi Chaat here. Me being not big fan of Aloo tikki chaat Liked it a lot. The tikki was Crisp from Outside and soft from inside. The chatni toppings was really good and flavourful.
Don’t expect Luxury and so much cleanliness at these old locations. You will find basic things here.
Papdi Chaat was average.

P.S- This location is very crowded so don’t come here by car. Two wheelers are recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crispy tikiya. The shopkeeper insisted for their sweets and we tried gulab jamun. We did not regret the decision and shopkeeper was right. The gulab jamun was awesome.
It is a very old and famous shop in Prayagraj.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading great reviews I was really tempted to try their chaat on my recent visit to Prayagraj. I would say I was very disappointed with the taste. I ordered Aaloo Tikki chat made in Desi ghee and Khasta chat. Both of them were pretty average.
