A remarkable outcome of the doctrines of Nanak in modern times is to be found in the sect of the Nirankaris. Nirnkar or Nirankar translates to “The Formless One“, and it was a term commonly used by Baba Nanak as an equivalent of the Deity; hence Nanak was at first known as Nanak Nirankari. Those who refer to themselves as Nirankaris are nothing else but the followers of the Formless God after the manner of Baba Nanak.
Baba Dayal preached against idolatry and sought to restore the worship of the one Nirankar or God in spirit – thus freeing us from the Bondage. One invisible God as spirit, who is the hearer of prayers, avoiding idols, and making no offerings to priest or the dead.Neither priests nor cows are to be reverenced. The Adi Granth of Baba Nanak is their Guiding Spirit though they are respect the later Gurus and their writings. Weddings are celebrated according to the Sikh rites, the bride sits unveiled in public and the pair circumbulate the Adi Granth instead of a fire. Widows may remarry. At funerals also they dispense with priests and instead of mourning, the event is regarded as an occasion for rejoicing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are just doing their own business here with the name of god and making people fool. The sarai which is supposed to be offered for free or at a nominal price range is being used as a comercial property. I needed a roof and i end up paying 10k for a month and for a room without cooler or ac, No water purifier ,no water cooler,no room cleaning and don't forget its a sarai not a commercial business place. They do not have any legal license to lease the property. If you ask them for anything like to provide a cooler etc. they will ask you to not to wear shorts hahahahaha (you got this right-no shorts... I mean who the hell they are to tell you this)and then will ask you for more money. So much to say but i think i should stop now...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived near it for around 3 months. It's a good place. As there is a bird century behind it, you will hear chirping of birds all the time. You will get a Soothing feeling. People are saying that they were not allowed to drink water from there, but I went there many times and no one stopped me. And yeah there is a PG also.
