Nishtha Foundation, among one of the most active NGO in Delhi (NCR), works intensively through focused welfare projects in areas like education for poor children, Covid-19 relief camp, healthcare for marginalized and vulnerable communities, community engagement through women empowerment skills training and livelihood for youth and save the environment.

We are envisioning a society permeated with the spirit of smart and educated children, brotherhood and empowered women;  where everyone help each other in a harmonious environment, improving their lives through raised awareness of co-dependency and connectivity with their surroundings as well as globally.

We believe that children are the future of any society and there should be no differences for any class of children when they are being exposed to knowledge and information. This is why we are providing quality school syllabus related classes and extracurricular activities for all children.

In our work, we use innovative and traditional education methods to make it interesting to children. Learning, after all, should be interactive and engaging, sparking curiosity and breeding a healthy relationship with attaining knowledge. 

This way we try to ensure a lifelong learning because of the newly awoken desire for the learning process to continue. Through a broad-minded attitude like this, an individual is able to not only act upon fulfilling his needs but also be a binding agent and promoter of change in society.

As women are the basic pillars of any society, there is a necessity to must respect and empower them so that society can progress. Women’s empowerment is the process in which women elaborate and recreates what it is that they can be, do, and accomplish in a circumstance that they previously were denied.

We are educating the women, trying to develop their skills, making them self-dependent so that they will be able to not only survive but to mark their names in society.

We are dealing with the harassment of domestic workers especially women. A lot of domestic workers are harassed by their masters in terms of their wages, working hours, and by other means. We are helping the domestic workers for this kind of harassment so that they can feel free and equal compare to the other grade of workers.

Another major area of concern of our organization is Sexual Harassment. Sexual harassment is a type of harassment that relates to a sexual nature and the unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors. Sexual harassment includes a range of actions from mild transgressions to sexual abuse or assault. Harassment can occur in many different social settings such as the workplace, the home, school, churches, etc. Victims may be of any gender but are mostly girls or women in our Indian society.

We are helping the victims by supporting them with immediate assistance and also taking the help of local and legal authorities and providing them with free counseling and legal consultations.

Most of our working and dealing is for the hatred and ignored slum peoples especially women and children so that they can be upgraded and be self-dependent.
