Enjoy Bullcart, Tractor Ride, Campfire, Swimming, Raindance, Farming, Adventure activities and boating experience in vaitarna river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple yet decent staying facilities and beautiful farm stay. Spotlessly clean tents and bedding. All tents have a lot of privacy and are not bothered by other bigger residing groups. Not a place for people looking for luxury, it's a simple, no frills, back to nature kind of property. Major plus is the self-paddle boating facility on the serene Vaitarna river. They even arrange for a trek to a nearby fort accompanied by a guide, on request. Food is good but "satvik" - simple roti-subji-dal-rice repeat. Can be disappointing(boring even) for people looking for change of food and exciting eating options, especially for more than one night stay. It's predominantly a Vegetarian place however they accommodate chicken curry for dinner only. Bbq is available on request. However the overall hospitality still has a far way to go if they want to attract more of Mumbai crowd. Owner's son Pratik is very approachable and holds a promise to develop this property further into a popular getaway in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This farm is situated 2 km. beyond Gorhe village on the banks of Vaitarna river has nearly 2000 mango trees (as per the owner) offers luxury stay in tents which are quite spacious ranging from 4 beds to 6 beds and even larger. They are fully equipped with AC, hot water geyser, front porch to sit and relax. There is one Bamboo House which is Non-AC, suitable for 2 persons. The rates include tractor ride, bullock-cart ride and boating trip on Vaitarna. Most of the mango trees are of kesar variety, some of them being “jumbo” kesar. There are some jamun trees also plus a variety of vegetables are grown and it has its own set-up of dairy cows. We stayed 1 night in Bamboo House and the 2nd night in one of the 4-bedded tents very close to Vaitarna. The food was superb with unlimited sweets for both lunch and dinner – a pleasant surprise – as most places serve sweets only once during the day. It was nice talking to the owner, Ajay Madane and the site-in-charge, Rane who took us on an hour long tour of the farm. Acceding to the demand of the tourists, a swimming pool is under construction. This place would be an ideal base for the day trek to Kohoj Fort, the highest point in that area. The portion of Vaitarna where this farm is located is really deep and the waters are very calm and soothing. They have built 2 machans to spot birds and also have a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area. Being a couple of hours from mid-Mumbai, this would be an ideal week-end trip to rejuvenate one’s jaded senses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super place amidst about 20 acres of Mango plantations and on the banks of river Vaitarna. Good home like food, no frills but great comfortable Tents stays. Good quality swimming pool as well. We would have been happy to use the facilities they have for Rafting and boating but was closed for monsoon. To summarise about beautiful and pristine place and would love to be back. Absolutely worth the stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here twice after prior appointment, for lunch only as I was a temporary resident close by. The food quality and taste was excellent. Great home cooked meal. Overall the concept of agro tourism is great and well maintained property. Lots of mango, chikoo and other fruit trees and melon plantation also. Lots of activities to do like zipline, boating, Burma bridge, swimming and other adventure activities on prior booking. Cannot comment on stay as I did not stay here.

Awesome homely tasty food with lots of fun activity Boating, Swimming pool, Cart ride, Rappling, Rock climbing, Zip line and many more. Neat, clean and hygienic rooms.
Highly recommended for picnic, birthday party, Kitty party and overnight stay to enjoy fully.
