About North Central Hospital
Northcentral hospital was established in 2004. This was and still is the only G.I and Liver speciality hospital in Pathankot and in addition to surrounding Punjab districts, also caters to adjacent states of J & K and H.P
Our focus is to systematically evaluate the Gastro and Liver disease in a holistic manner. Nearly every type of modern instrument required for the diagnosis and treatment of liver and gastro disease is available in the centre. State of the art endoscopy equipment includes magnification endoscopy and virtual chromoendoscopy using latest Fujifilm / Olympus systems. We are a high volume ERCP center for last 15 years for Biliary and Pancreatic disorders. Spyglass-DS cholangioscopy with holmium laser Lithotripsy is being routinely used ever since it is available for last 4 years.
We have a long experience (since 2006) of small bowel enteroscopy which is now done using HD system (EN -580 T). Many small bowel therapies were achieved with DBE doing this period, particularly hepaticojejunostomy anastomosis dilatations and small bowel bleed therapies.
Endoscopic ultrasound –for diagnostic and therapeutic use for last 10 years.
(FUJIFILM Sonart 2 with tissue harmonics/ elastography /contrast-enhanced EUS.)
The G.I setup is compeleted with availability of High resolution Manomatory (HRM) of Esophagus and Anorectum as
well as 24 hr -Esophageal impedance -pH Monitoring.
Fibroscan touch 502 was installed in 2012. Since it installation, it has been easier to screen for chronic liver disease and metabolic liver disease.
All G.I emergencies are handled here, including those for endotherapy or laproscopic or conventional surgery.
For last 5 years we have a diabetic specialist – focusing on not only the treatment of patients with diabetes and its complications but also with a special emphasis on the prevention of complications of diabetes.
It is a hospital with 25 beds which include 4 ICU beds for liver care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctor is good but we reach there at 9 am and our ercp held at 10 am but after that the doctor didn't came for the checkup till next morning and the nurses there are saying that he will come in some time but he didn't came till next morning ....the condition of hospital is very poor and the staff is also very rude and untrained ...... Except our ercp operation which is quite good ,we found everything very bad there... The room of there are also very unhygienic. We suffer alot there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandfather 85yrs old with malaena and an episode of hemoptysis was rushed to the hospital late in the night. He was immediately attended to and UGI endoscopy and all the investigations were done at earliest. Dr Anil Singh was very supportive, co operative and caring. The whole staff was very co operative. Thankfully everything went well .The hospital is very well equipped with all the latest machinery and infrastructure. Thanks to the brilliant team at the North Central Hospital headed by Dr Anil Singh for all the help and care. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He just doesn't follow the very first rule of being a doctor. Never shows empathy and never explains problem. We went 3-4 times waited 4-4 hours and yet we don't know what is the problem.
Highly miss managed hospital with no timelines at all.
Doctor should show empathy and give confidence to patients. But Mr. Anil singh always seems like he has to catch next flight to moon.
And by the way, even staff doesn't wear masks ? properly and no enforcing of masks on patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I finally decided to visit Dr Anil Singh after having realized that my GIT problems would not go away on their own. I am pleased to say that three weeks after my visit I am doing great.
What I took away from the experience:
1) Being the anxious person I am, I called ahead and scheduled an appointment. On calling I was told to come fasting for the procedure and that it would not take long. I would encourage people to read up a little on the procedure before going to be a little aware of what to expect.
2) As a woman, I was naturally a bit apprehensive but kudos to the Doctor and support staff for creating an atmosphere of casual competence and professionalism. They chatted to me and told me what was happening all through the procedure and I was soon responding to their questions and asking quite a few of my own.
3) The procedure was done in about 15 minutes (took me longer to change etc.) And was painless. There maybe slight discomfort but nothing unbearable. The treatment that the doctor prescribed was effective and the doctor emphasized the importance of taking an exam as soon as there is a problem since it is easy for things to escalate.
4) I would recommend Dr Anil Singh to everyone suffering from GIT related problems. He does not sugarcoat things, but he is supremely professional and his treatment was extremely effective. I would also recommend to call ahead for appointments as he may need to tell you how to prepare for the procedures (otherwise you may need to postpone your visit to the next week for getting your gut ready!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The treatment is good but the service is aweful. There is no point of checking the appointment schedule. No matter how early you reach but you will have to wait for 2 hours. It's a private hospital and they charge like that but make you sit in the sun for 2 hours. They insist due to Covid they make you sit outside. Do you understand we are already sick and need comfortable environment. That is the reason we come to a private hospital, what's the purpose of we can't access the facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I request everyone that please don't visit here. As doctor will force you to take test from their desired labs and take commission . Dr. Anil Singh bhadwa doesn't know anything. He just takes money and do nothing at all.
Only thing he do is to force patients to take tests from his desired labs and take commission from them.
Once he gets his commission he refers you to other hospital.
PLEASE BE AWARE DON'T GO TO THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Anil Singh is very intelligent but treatment in this hospital is very expansive. Even ultrasound of the upper abdomen in this hospital costs rs 5100, which can be done easily for rs 350 or 500 anywhere in this city. Furthermore unwanted test are prescribed by the doctor. Service is very slow, you have to spend full day even for normal appointment.
