After seeing their Ads so many times in Instagram, finally visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Located in the second floor along 80ft road. Parking may be an issue since it's just road side parking available. There were only 2 patrons present when we visited and we got a seat of our choice. The restaurant is on the theme of Afghan/Pashtun cuisine, as suggested by the restaurant name. We ordered the following: Murgh Jahangiri Shorba; Non-Veg Platter; Chicken Dum Biryani. The platter would contain fish, prawn, chicken and mutton, however, we requested to replace the fish and mutton with two other types of chicken Tikkas. Each type of tikka has 2 pieces. The biriyani portion is sufficient for 2 people and has 4 pieces of juicy masala infused chicken. For beverages, we ordered Nariyal Shikanjvi and aam ka panna. The service was really quick with friendly staff and all the items were very well cooked. They also gave their in house prepared papad with mayo like dip which was amazing taste. To end onna sweet note, Samak ke Chawal ki Phirni was served, on the house. They also have in-house offer of unlimited kebabs and biryani, which is not present on menu. There's also thalis available - Veg, Chicken and Mutton, on weekdays. Ambience is also good with the preparation in the kitchen separated by a glass wall. Nice music is also played. Although the price is slightly on the higher side, the taste is so good that you will be content with the taste and experience. With Zomato Pro, you get 25% off on the final bill. Second Visit Update: This time we went for their unlimited kebabs and biriyani options. The restaurant manager was kind enough to accomodate our request for lunch despite this being valid for weekday dinner option. We tried a wide variety of their kebabs - veg, chicken, mutton, prawns and fish. Fish was river water one and hence we didn't like it but rest all were top class. Definitely worth the price if you've the capacity to eat.

Anniversary calls for a special meal and thatโ€™s the reason I chose Chef Sanjay Tyagiโ€™s Northwest Frontier cuisine specialty restaurant, Northwest Kebab and Curry House for my lunch date with hubby. We walked in to a soothing and beautiful space which had a calming effect. The dรฉcor is minimalistic yet tasteful. The staff is extremely courteous. We were attended to by Mr. Suraj who handles the restaurant management . He recommended quite a few dishes and it was commendable. We also had the honor of meeting the man himself, Chef Sanjay Tyagi. A very humble and down to earth person despite all the accolades and achievements, he lets his food speak for itself. We are vegetarians and were blown away by the choices of vegetarian items they had on the menu. We tried the following: Soup โ€“ Kashmiri Seb aur Tamatar ka Shorba โ€“ Highly recommend this as the sweetness of apple combined with the tanginess of tomatoes makes this a great way to kick start the lunch Appetizers โ€“ We tried an assortment of starters and I must say everything tasted great with the perfect blend of spices and a burst of flavours. The bhuttey ke kebab were cooked to perfection while the tandoori broccoli melted in our mouth. The mewe and sabz ki kakori can give even a meat based dish run for its money while the Dahi ke kebabs were succulent. I also loved the paneer parathdaar which was a unique twist to the regular paneer dish. Last but not the least, the subz tabei was a winner too with its combination of spinach, veggies and rice flakes. Main course โ€“ The appetizers were sizable and left us with little space for the main course. We got to try the Bhindi Musallam which was a pleasant surprise. I have never had such a delicious bhindi in an onion almond gravy. The chef special Kadhai Paneer which was served was really delicious. The paneer was very soft as it was made in-house. For the breads, we tried the chilly flakes layered paratha and the cheese naan. The breads were freshly made and were perfectly cooked. Loved the creamy Dal Makhani that we tried. Dessert โ€“ Save the best for the last. We tried the Husn e ara which is similar to Shahi Tukda but has pineapple along with the bread and is layered with nuts and thickened evaporated milk Drinks โ€“ Tried the Punjabi Chaanch which was soothing as it has yoghurt and mint leaves Portion sizes are quite good and the prices are reasonable. They take care of all the safety protocols and I didnโ€™t have any fear dining in there in the aftermath of Covid. Highly recommend everyone to visit this place and enjoy a great meal at prices that donโ€™t burn a hole in your pocket ๏Š

If you are looking for some authentic Northwest food, then here is your choice: Northwest Kebab and curry house is located in Kormangala. It has an amazing spread and options to choose from. Every dish curated here is delicious and turned out to be our favorite. They start off with pappad and in house made hung curd which was so appetising. The pappad and the hung curd was made in-house. We started off with their platters. The tandoori broccoli is cheesy and very nice. The bhuttey ke kebab with the sauces was so good. Paneer pathadar was my favorite with the paneer being fresh and soft. The mewe aur subz ki seekh was blended with the righ amount of masala and was so good that we relished it with the sauces that were made in-house. The main course was qofta dilkush with authentic dal makhani which I couldn't stop myself from. The laal mirch paratha was super flaky and delicious. It was the best combination with our gravy. Ulta tawa paratha was really interesting just cooked on one side with it being soft and just perfect. We ended our meal with moong dal aur badam ka halwa which was rich, cooked in ghee. The halwa was garnished with a whole lot of badam. The halwa was so good, we couldn't stop ourselves. If you are a person who enjoys North Indian food, then this is the place to be.

In mood for North Indian food, then this certainly a must try. Menu curated by celebrity chef Sanjay Tyagi himself. Authentic flavours from North and cooked to perfection. Every dish is so well thought, prepared and presented. Rich and royal flavours, certainly love at first bite. Cosy, bright and vibrant ambience, simple yet elegant. Tried various dishes and few of my favourite are, Chargha Murgh, charcoal grilled chicken, love the flavours and the spice blend. Very unique and must try. Murgh K chaamp, chicken lolipop, but on a completely different levels. Chapli kebab, one of famous north indian kebab and must try, every bite has a blast of flavour. Chicken Dum Biryani, Many more dishes in bucket list to try on my next visit and can't wait to try. Special thanks to Mr.Malik for recommendations and suggestions and making our dining experience a pleasant one. Bon Appetite!!!

I have wanted to visit this place for a long time as I had heard a lot of good reviews about the food of this place. Finally, I got a chance to visit for dinner on a weekday. The ambiance is verypretty with cozy corners. The service was also very great. The chef Sanjay Tyagi (Celebrity Chefand Owner) himself takes keen interest in guests and whether they liked the food or not. We started with some Nariyal Shikanji and Creamy Lassi. The Nariyal Shikanji was very refreshing and the combination of coconut and nimbu pani was actually quite good. For appetizers, we ordered Veg Kebab Platter. The platter had 2-3 pieces of each - Paneer Parathdar, Subz Tabei, Tandoori Broccoli, Bhutte Ke Kebab. All of them tasted pretty damngood. Subz Tebai, which was a patty, actually stood out for me. I had never tasted anything softlike that which just melted into my mouth with a burst of flavors. In the main course we had theirsignature paneer shinwari, kumbh hara pyaaz with some assorted breads. Both curries werepretty delicious and tasted very rich. They were on a mildly spicier side and gravy was tomato based. I liked the ulta tawa ka paratha, pudina paratha, missi roti and garlic naan in the breadsand they were all properly cooked to perfection with lots of butter. Finally, we finished our mealwith husn e ara dessert - a twist given to shahi tukda with the addition of pineapple in it. It wasquite creamy and yummy. The presentation was also pretty top notch with all the dishes. Overall, I had a great time andone of the best foods in recent times.
