★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Canteen is awesome, perfect place for summer training, trainers are good. It is Delhi's first and own plant, going to be closed soon. India's first 95MW TG was installed here and have served for more than 40years. PROUD OF IT AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the name suggests it si coal thermal power plant. With the high security by the CISF. It is spread across in acres.
A large area to store coal. A railway track is also there. They have there own railway engines to transport coal. Last time when I visited they have shutdown they one chimney due to the pollution. Government of Delhi gave order to shut this Plant. The cafeteria of the employees is very much cheap as this comes under government sector and hygiene is also maintained Cafeteria food also taste good. They have many machines and department. From It department to Training. ✌?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This power plant serves a lot of nearby areas. The total capacity is around 705 MW.
It has a huge turbine hall, its own water sewage treatment plant and substation. Also it has its own wagon tippler for unloading of coal and an ash handling plant.
Adjacent to the plant is its own township and colonies with all the basic amenities available.
The security guards of CISF are very particular and strict and they do their duty nicely.
It also has a huge canteen which is very much pocket friendly and a fire brigade station.
The staff are very helpful and cordial.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Currently the generation of this plant is permanently stop/closed by the delhi government due to lot of pollution by the coal burn in huge amount.
That's why it's closed permanently.
And the generator/alternator, turbine and generation transformer etc. are under removing working progress.
In this plant total number of alternator unit was 5 ( 2no 210MW & 3no 95MW).
The Switchyard of this plant is under working for other company.
