But sound pollution from other picnic group is an issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nuner bheri is a picnic spot. Unlike other picnic spots this one is not in the outskirts of Kolkata but within the city. The location of this picnic spot is right opposite to Metropolitan EM Bypass, just 800 metres off route from Bypass.
If you are coming from Ultadanga side and once you take a left turn from Metropolitan bus stop, you will come to a narrow road which will lead you to the Nuner Bheri picnic spot. The condition of this road is pretty pathetic. It seems like the road needs immediate attention from the government since the popularity of this place as a picnic spot is growing day by day.
Here, unlike other picnic spots, the spots are small. Though washrooms are installed in every spot, but the size of all spots are very small. We were lucky enough to get the no. 1spot, which is the best one. It has got a big hall and the entire spot is the biggest one.
This place is ideal for exploration if you want to. There are 3 to 4 bheris which are the main attractions. You can go for boating in the biggest one.
Lastly, overall, it is a good place for a one day family or office picnic within the city limits.
