What a beautiful place, You'll see river, views and beautiful Birds. It's about 3kms walk from one side to the other side. And there are bird watch towers too. Very beautiful place to hangout with friends or a very friendly and safe place for couples as well. I loved this place. There is one cafe just after entering the gate if you want to eat something get it here or you will not find anything inside.

Feel good with nature. You may find birds. Take your camera with you. You can walk along with the lake to gate no 2 or take battery vehicle ride. A small restaurant is there inside. Forest department has tried to maintain that. Feel good with nature.

Hey! This is peaceful place but can't go there again. They charge 30/- & charge seperately for professional cameras, you will get tickets at the entrance. There was not so much teeming on Saturday, very less people were there. In the beginning you'll find lake with some tied boat kinda surface so one can enjoy the view. And migratory birds arrive here for food so if you are fortunate you can see them otherwise not. It is around 3.5 km & there you can take ride in battery rickshaw if you are exhausted. Outside food or home food is allowed so you can carry and they have a food court at the entrance, charge seperately for professional cameras. And they dont have their own parking ?️ for that you need to use the Metro Parking and walk from there. Overall a well spent day. Thank You

Best place to visit in a crowded city. This place is filled with beautiful sights. A lot of interesting sightseeing can be found here. It will be best if you visit with your love else you'll be seeing the lovebirds (?) instead of the birds.

It's a beautiful place for those who want peace of mind. Must visit once! You should know few things about this place before coming here: 1. There is no parking for four-wheelers, but you can park your car at Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro station and reach here by walk(600m-5 minutes only). 2. No need to take auto if you are coming here by Metro because auto driver take Rs. 100 or more for a very short distance. 3. Better to put on shoes because you have to walk a lot if you want to patiently enjoy being in the nature. You can take e-rickshaw also. 4.Tickets for Indians is only for Rs.30. But if you carry different types of gadgets, then you have to pay separate charges. You can collect the ticket at the Gate no.1. 5. This place is very beautiful and photogenic. You can visit this place with your friends. 6. Timings :7:00 am -5:00pm( all days) 7. There is a Canteen and Drinking water inside the sanctuary premise. A free Public Toilet is few meters away ,outside the sanctuary.

The place was peaceful and beautiful. For those who are confused due to entry fee, it's Rs30 per person for Indian citizens. Also they don't have any sort of parking so you might have to leave your car at Metro's parking. They have a cafeteria too at the entrance and provides E-buggy travel for Rs20 per person per side. Sadly bicycles are not allowed as according to officials "Bicycles are too noisy and might scare-off the birds", on the other hand, officials there riding there fuel powered cars at 60KMPH is perfectly fine. Here are some images so that you can get a good idea how it is.

Only go here if you love NATURE + WALKING and are in search of peace or photography…? I swear you won’t need a gym the day you visit here. ? It’s freaking big and all you gotta do is walk and walk. ? Don’t forget to go to the sunset/sunrise point. β˜€οΈAnd do carry a water bottle of your own ? I honestly could not see a lot many birds but I still enjoyed the calm, the peace & the beautiful chirping ? Also, wear a comfortable pair of footwear & lastly don’t throw or feed anything here n there or to the birds. ? You will also see a lot of couples!! ?
