Most of the visitors visit Sawai Madhopur are interested in to see the tiger no doubt it is your basic purpose of visit but apart from tiger there are certain other places which may interest you during your visit. One of the important place is shiv temple situated deep inside the forest. The shivling is situated in a cave where natural flow of water from hill continue all the time. There is no lake above this rock. It is not known from where the water is coming, It is being told that the water is coming from Gupt Ganga flowing from Ganesh Temple to Shiv Temple. There are two Kund (one for male and other for female) for bathing. During the rainy season and particularly Monday in Savan month thousands of devotees come to this place for prayer and Goth (Dal, Bati Churma party)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A secluded old temple which only few know about. You have to walk through all ruins of fort premises and jungle to reach there. Crossing gupt ganga and grain stores and some chhatris you will reach this old temple of shiva which has a large beautiful shivlinga.
It has a serene view in all directions and this place is as peaceful as it can be. Must visit place if you visit Ranthambhore fort. Har har mahadev.
