★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst possible lifts ever made. None of the saftey mechanisms work. Please do not buy apartments with omega elavators. If any one wants to verify please reach out to embassy residency in Chennai where 48 lifts were installed. Entry week some one gets stuck in lift

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Service Ever. I live in Indraprasth-5. Since last week elevator is down. Engineer comes for regular service and next day lift breaks down. They say that there is major part failure and it takes 2 days to replace it. Not sure how after elevator goes down immediately after a service. It seems that Omega is involved with bad business practice and brining elevator down intentionally to flourish their parts business. Again after replacing the part next day lift goes down. Engineer does something and it is working only for few hours. This is unending loop and shows what kind of quality of engineers as well as the foul business practice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unreliable lifts. Actually not heard of these lifts until Embassy group gifted these headache on gullible flat buyers. Now we are living under constant break downs and locked in situations without even simple emergency landing devices. Before buying flats on High rise buildings please check what lifts are provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a shame that consumer is always at the receiving end in India when you have the builder’s ( Embassy) preferred elevator company for residents at Embassy Residency, Perumbakkam, Chennai is OMEGA. Despite in operation between 2 to 4 years across both phases at Embassy the lifts are malfunctioning all the time. The great Indian jugaad I.e quick fixes only postpones the timeline for next time to falter. Kids, older people being stuck for 6 hours gives you the impression that the leadership at Omega have a myopic vision of term called SERVICE. The team on the ground are only doing breakdown maintenance when residents panic. If the senior management of Omega visit to Chennai campus is not yielding results of a simple functional lift 24x7, then resolving issues in consumer courts is the option that needs to be triggered as Embassy and Omega are hand in glove and NOT resolving issues falling on deaf ears. Using this official channel to WAKE UP the lethargic, inept Omega team to have some spine and own up their failure , acknowledge and put a fail safe mechanisms immediately. Please do not play with lives of 2500+ families, you know what is coming next. Still requesting for a permanent solution for 48 lifts on war footing to distil the confidence back to the residents/ consumers.
There are other mechanisms through which we will address this lackadaisical approach of Omega at Embassy Residency, Chennai for past 4 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In spite of having Omega personnel on site, there are still lift issues in Embassy Residency. A week does not pass without any lift incidents in the society and reading about them everyday is very scary and you never know you may be the next one who might get stuck in the lift. Pathetic services from Omega. Whoever is planning to buy a flat in one of the high-rises, please check the lift company first as it is very important.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In India this is the worst elevator company. They treat customers as outsiders, you will never get any spare parts. It is mandatory to pay them AMC charges every year else you can't even buy any spare parts from Omega.
And their AMC is the worst in the current era, every time they do a checkup next day lift will have some problem.
If you can insist, then tell the builder not to go for Omega.
