During general elections, it is being used as the nodal centres. It has a unique track record of securing top position in AHSC Exams. A very profound teaching efficient staff.

The Collector of Ganjam during British Rule who was staying at Chatrapur was very much interested in education and done many things for that purpose.He was Mr.Onslow from British Civil Service.So to remember him, the name of the High school came as Onslow Institution.A small gratitude for a Great person .It was famous for its quality of education and still now.
