But the food quality deserved the price....

They try to recreate the food and the environment of 1590.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oudh 1590 as its name suggests completely justify its name by providing an ambience of mughal nawabi period with thumri and other top notch musics by famous classical artists. Servicing and sanitization procedures is excellent with efficient waiters greeting you with warm welcome and constantly checking on you about the food.
Though a bit pricy each and every food is quite sufficient for two and the treasure is hidden behind its great taste and deliciousness whether it be drinks, starters or main course. Joyful delicacy drips in each of these items which will definitely take you back to the ancient period and give you the privilege of being a nawab yourself. A must try for every history and food lovers of Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oudh 1590 has excellent ambience inside. The interior decoration has glimpse of mughal genre. The dinner was delicious accompolished with murgh handi biriyani, murgh bhuna, Shahi murgh tandoor, anaras raita. It was a lovely dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my 3rd time eating at Oudh Naktala The food is no doubt good and the service too, but the value for money is very less, we ordered two fish items as side dishes, a fish sugandhi, a fish kalia which serves 4 piece each but the cost is really high compared to the quantity which cost around 425 each which in my opinion is outrageous. But above all its a really nice place and serves Authentic awadhi dishes to all always come back for

The place was beautiful,nice atmospher,clean,hygienic...The attending staff was friendly and food was very delicious,fresh...It was my 3rd time at Oudh 1590 but first time in Naktala branch...No complains about any food item...We had Gosht awadhi handi biriyani, Gosht bhuna, lucknowi paratha, phirni and malai kulfi...I would like to visit once again to taste their "Nargisi kofta" ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this place once. Ambience is good and spacious place. But the biggest minus point is the excessive high value of all the items. Food taste is good but I personally don't like the sourness of all the items.

Ambience:
Ambience was unexpectedly good apart from the music being played all the time. There was a certain point of time when we got headache due to the music. I know the music genre belongs to the Lucknow gharana. I'm not demeaning any music genre. Still you might feel mild headache after some point of time. They could play some other genres, instead of playing the same genre.
Food:
Food was something you would not want to miss out on. It was simply super palatable. Nothing more to talk about it.

1. Handi Chicken Biriyani
2. Mutton Biriyani
3. Murg Salan
4. Sugandhi Kebab
5. Sikanji
6. Lime Soda
7. Gajar Ka Halwa
P.S.: You have to scan to check out their menu.
** They didn't provide the Handi. Handi looks really awesome. This is what I didn't like about them. ???
