★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is a well known South Goa Church which you might have seen in many movies of Rohit Shetty. This infact is a very old construction which holds it beauty, mesmerizing architecture and pride since 1609, it is a must visit in an itinerary of Goa Trip . Located in Altinho, you must brace yourself for an experience on its own. Be prepared to climb some stairs though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Panaji Church or the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is located in the heart of Panaji City near the Municipal Garden. As history goes, the church was first built as a chapel in 1541 to serve the religious needs of Portuguese sailors at their first port of call as they disembarked before proceeding further. The Chapel was replaced by a bigger church in 1609 to minister to the sailors and the residents too.The distinctive feature of the Panaji church are the zigzag symmetrical stairs which were later added around the 18th century.The church also houses the second largest bell in Goa. The exterior of the church proudly displays architectural elements of the baroque style.The interior of the church sees the main altar dedicated to Mother Mary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its my Ansterial Parish Church and I love all the parishioners and the priests , most of them being of our parish itself, hence giving it a very loving and homely atmosphere. All visitors and tourists must make it a point to visit this 225 heritage and pay respects and do not forget to offer Masses for your intentions, if nothing, at least a thanks giving Mass for bringing you here to this place and seeking God's blessings!Do make an offering from the little you have and you and your family will be blessed abduntly. Also mention about this Church to your friends and acquaintance to visit this place as often , and attend the prayers service and also do not forget to attend the feasts celebrations at the church's parish . The choirs make the services mire meaningful abd praiseworthy. God bless !
