The exact location is on Ashok Rajpath which is also home to other colleges of Patna University. It has more than 1748 beds which is at par with AIIMS. The emergency ward is called IGCE (Indira Gandhi Central Emergency) and has an additional 220 beds. It is one of the busiest hospitals in India. The average daily outpatient load is one of the highest in India

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Patna Medical College is one of the oldest training centers of physicians and surgeons, in eastern India, next only to the Calcutta Medical College . If taken in the strict sense of the length of its life it will be completing its 75 years on 25th February 2000 A. D. Theoretically its history can be counted from 23rd june 1874, when its predecessor institution the Patna School of Medicine was opened with the intention of imparting L. M. P. level medical training to the junior surgeons of the army establishments , those employed in civil dispensaries in Bihar eastern U. P. and other neighbouring areas as well as private students of the region.
LOCATION - PMCH is located at Muradpur Ashok Rajpath, patna-4 , Main entrance is on Ashok Rajpath. PMCH is situated on the bank of the Ganges in the north & IGCC at the east. It is sprawled over 4 km’s
NUMBER OF BEDS, DOCTORS, NURSES ETC. - The hospital has a total of 1760 beds & approx. 220 beds Emergency. There are 200+ doctors (incl. Faculty members, Sr. and Jr. Residents) And 380 Nurses

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowdy hospital of Patna. Not very clean too. But some how patients gather coz of free checkup and all. Their are free medicine, free e- rickshaw & trolley service which is not free at all, they ask for chai paani. Mismanagement is at it's best here. A big no for nitish kumar for pmch mismanagement. PMCH management should take some sort of responsibility to uplift the services of the hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ P. M. C. H hospital is the most famous and oldest hospital of Bihar. It is situated on ashok raj path road, which 500 M away from Gandhi maidaan. It is government hospital. All the facility are available here 24*7 . The imergency facility is most famous here. All the operation and treatment here are free. Some time medicine is available sometime is not. The most thing here is that it is too much crowded and arrangement is not like that.

You need time also because as its biggest in Bihar ao around all serious casea of nearby and most of the cities in Bihar is referred here.
