★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had 2 rounds of interview. One telephonic and one face to face. I was given a system test. However it was not possible to complete the test within the given time as it required more time. Besides to run and debug the app they should provide devices. Emulator was also not running. If you give system test make sure it can be done within 1 or 2 hrs. Also provide devices to test. It makes no sense to do 1 small app in 1 and half hrs. Company is in rajajinagr. Company looks okay. They called me after seeing review to take feedback.
I have the assignment on my GitHub repo. It works. The task was to load contacts from db faster. This can be done with paging library along with room.
Edit update option yet to be implemented but they did not show interest so I stopped doing the assignment.
Question on media player how stop audio play during phone call. I had not worked on it before. The answer is audio manager. Look at uamp example from google.
Have you worked on Bluetooth iot and gps. I have worked on how but not on iot.
Looks like they wanted someone who's was worked on particular domain in that case they should not have called me for an interview in the first place if my candidature did not match their requirements.

We had burnt our fingers working with two other companies and we were much worried,but the way the team coordinated and communicated gave us utmost confidence.
By the end the application was bug free and it is on production now.
We just loved the UI & UX. This was timely and apt and most importantly a very rightly priced deal it was. Highly recommendable.
