★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A distinct village full of diversity. Pahlam is a small village in Ghordaur Panchayat, Banma Itahari Block, Kosi Division, district Saharsa in state Bihar. It is 21 km south from district Saharsa and 176 km away from capital Patna. People of different castes reside here happily together. The hindus and the Muslims show mutual respect to each other. It is indeed an ideal village.
This is indeed one of the best village I have seen in my life. There is one aanganwadi, two primary school and one senior secondary high school. There is one health centre. This village lacks a hospital and a cold storage.
