Salasar Dham of Bengal Pakuria Salasar Dham Balaji Hanuman Mandir is located at Pakuria locality of Howrah city belongs to Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Here, the temple main deity is Salasar Balaji and the image is same as Salasar Dham of Rajasthan so it is also known as the ‘Salasar Dham of West Bengal’. The temple is famous for its elegant Dravidian style architecture and plenty of quality craft. The engraved sculpture work of various Lord Hanuman images on temple walls and pillars are extra ordinary. Welcome statues of elephant and Nartakees are beautifully carved that attracts more devotees to the temple. The decorated view of temple just after the evening when all lights are lit is fabulous. Shri Ram Parivar, Radha Krishna, Lord Ganapati, Bal Hanuman and other God shrines are present on the same floor and worshipped equally by all devotees. Daily schedule of puja & aarti:- (1) Mangla Aarti & Baal Bhog at 5:00 AM (2) Raj Bhog at 11:15 AM (3) Sandhya Aarti at 6:15 PM (4) Sandhya Bhog at 7:00 PM (5) Sayan Aarti at 9:15 PM Howrah or Haora is located on the western bank of River Hooghly. The name came from the word Haor-Bengali word for a fluvial swampy lake, which is sedimentologically a depression where water, mud and organic debris accumulate.

Beautiful stone cut Hindu temple. The deity here is lord Ram and Ma Sita and obviously lord Hanuman. I found this temple on Bombay road, when I was driving back to Dunlop in kolkata. The exact location was at Pakuria in Howrah district.
