★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambience was good. Couldn't staff was inept in handling the huge crowd. Had to wait for a long time for the starter to be served on the table. Taste was good. Double cooked pork belly was really nice and strogganof also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited today for a family lunch. Ambience was quite good although crowded today. Regarding food, I must tell ,very less variety in non veg food. Not much idea about veg as i didn't taste those. Starter, Main course was not of that great taste wise with less variety. Dessert was tasty and of much variety. Even the seating arrangement(4 seater table) is not enough spacious for 4 people to sit comfortably and have their food. Overall we didnt like it much:(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very average food. It's all day three meals buffet. Had been eating there regularly during my stay in Taj Bangalore. Never found a singlebdish that would stand out. The service too is very average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the worst experience of dinner buffet. Had gone on 29th July for dinner and very disappointed with quality of food as well as service. Just two veg starter and you look all around to get waiter attention, feeling like we were unwanted paid guest. salad was smelling and rasam was like warm water. Will not suggest anyone for dinner buffet at Palette.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the restaurant for the buffet breakfast spread. The staff were amazing, the spread was amazing, a good combination of south indian, north indian and european spread. Please don't forget to try the croissant and danish pastry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been here with my team for a lunch buffet . For the amount they charge us, it's Def not worth it.
We were served only one veg and one non veg starter. The non-vegetarian had only fish. Since I eat only chicken and not fish, I ain't got any starter :(
There was a chaats counter which is supposed to be self made. None of the salads looked edible.
The main course had the usual roti Sabzi. The biryani was exceptionally good. There were 5-6 varieties of desserts. I could say I have had better food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a perfect spot if you are looking for a combination of ambiance, variety of food to suit a breadth of tastes as well as attentive service.
The bright and cheerful look of the restaurant was a pleasure, quite spacious.
The buffet spread covered Salads, Soups, Indian, Continental, Chinese and Desserts, all good to keep a large family happy. The tea and coffee at the end was a delight.
You cant miss the canvass/ ceiling with lights- and while you look up its the large spread of the counters that easily gets you to sit an hour- the healthy options are a good try!
The staff was attentive and courteous, service was prompt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ visited Taj Palette three days ago for a family outing. we opted for buffet lunch. lets start with the details. Unfortunately, the dishes were too less to click pictures. :-(
1. the buffet spread was too less with respect to the brand name of TAJ! (compare with Melange, Radisson Blu or even Feast, Sheraton Grand - with pictures in my other reviews - Melange tops the list for me, though, in terms of buffet spread)
2. food was mediocre in taste
3. there was no non-veg starters (chicken or fish) on the buffet spread out - we had to enquire and only then fish and chicken were served - only one variety each - to be precise.
4. vegetarian dishes were there - but when we look into the non-veg dishes - there was mutton biriyani (couldn't make out whether it was lamb or goat - the display name didn't mention anything), there was one chicken gravy, and one dish of pork - in the main course
5. the starters were mostly salads - there was one egg dish laid out over there - and there was the 'tenderloin'. TAJ kindly note, when you display any food specially the non-veg items - make sure that you mention what they are coz 'tenderloin' can be of any animal - beef, pork etc as per the OED! There are many guests who neither eat beef nor pork.. and there are many who may not be aware of the exact meaning of your 'tenderloin'
6. there was no Live counter!!! complete drawback in comparison to others!
7. desserts were also very less :-( . but liked the rasmalai; the milk cake was little sour don't know why. the black forest was not on the counter when I reached for it and after waiting for sometime and even asking the person in charge over there - there was no response.
8. Now coming to the ambience - the seating arrangement was not comfortable. the chairs were ordinary and the tables were very small. ideally those tables are okay for two people but not for four for sure!
9. the plates were white but there were black stains on few of them - since tissue papers were not given - we couldn't clean it ourselves - so we kept checking one plate after the other.
Expected far better service in terms of FOOD from TAJ and TATA group of hotels!
